This brief was one from Penguin Books, where there was an option of redesigning the cover for three different books. I chose to redesign the cover for Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo, as the story was so inspirational and discussed topics from a variation of women’s stories.

I decided to celebrate the colourful lives of all the women in this book by creating a collage of different shapes and colours, and then creating a reverse effect with hand drawn illustration and type.
